Privacy-First Architecture

SkinVault processes all photos 100% on your device using Apple's Neural Engine. Your photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any external server.

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the SkinVault mobile application ("App") operated by Neher Data Systems ("we", "us", or "our").

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SkinVault App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

Description of Service

SkinVault is a photo privacy protection application that uses on-device artificial intelligence to detect sensitive content in your photo library. The App:

Processes photos entirely on your iPhone using Apple's Neural Engine
Never uploads, transmits, or stores your photos on external servers
Uses ONNX machine learning models bundled with the app
Works offline without requiring internet connectivity for photo analysis
Allows you to review and manage detected photos

Subscription and Billing

SkinVault offers both free and subscription-based premium features. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchase and are subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions.

Free Tier:

Unlimited photo scanning with on-device AI
Detection count and risk score
Preview of top 10 detected photos (blurred)

Pro Subscription ($9.99/month or $79.99/year):

Everything in Free, plus:
View full unblurred detection results
Detection bounding boxes and details
Batch hide operations to iOS Hidden album
Background photo monitoring
New photo alerts

Billing Terms:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings
No refunds for unused portions of subscription periods

Use of the App

You agree to use the SkinVault App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

Use the App in any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
Extract or attempt to extract the AI models bundled with the App
Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person
Share your premium subscription credentials with others
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription verification

AI Detection Disclaimer

SkinVault uses AI-powered image detection for privacy protection purposes. You acknowledge that:

Detection accuracy varies based on image characteristics
AI models may produce false positives or miss some content
Results should be reviewed before taking action
The service is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy
We are not responsible for incorrect classifications

Photo Library Access

The App requires access to your photo library to function. By granting this access, you acknowledge:

All photo processing occurs locally on your device
No photos are transmitted to any external servers
You are responsible for the content of photos you scan
You have the legal right to access and scan the photos in your library
You can revoke photo access at any time through iOS Settings

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, functionality, and AI models are owned by Neher Data Systems and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Neher Data Systems, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App
Any conduct or content of any third party on the App
Any content obtained from the App
Incorrect or missed detections by the AI models
Actions taken based on detection results

Warranty Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the App and cancel your subscription through Apple ID settings.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
